Aims and Scope
International Journal of Hydrocarbons (IJH) is dedicated to publishing original research and review articles covering a broad spectrum of topics related to hydrocarbons. Key areas include the engineering, chemical, and physical properties of hydrocarbons; the development and application of innovative processes and technologies for hydrocarbon production, utilization, and distribution; environmental management practices related to hydrocarbon extraction; and the utilization of hydrocarbons for energy storage. Furthermore, IJH fosters discussions on the economic, political, and policy dimensions of hydrocarbon usage.
IJH aspires to serve as a global platform for hydrocarbon research, facilitating the exchange of knowledge among scientists and providing policymakers with evidence-based insights to inform decision-making. The journal welcomes submissions of empirical, theoretical, and Artificial Intelligence-driven research articles that incorporate economic, social, and policy perspectives. High-quality review articles that present the current state-of-the-art in the hydrocarbon field are also encouraged, providing researchers with a forum to discuss the broader implications of their findings within the industry context.
