The Journal of Digestive Disorders and Diagnosis publishes all articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). JDDD authors retain full copyright of their published work. By submitting to JDDD, authors grant the journal a license to publish while maintaining their own rights to their gastroenterology research.

Third-Party Content
Authors must obtain permission for any third-party content included in manuscripts, such as figures, tables, or extended quotations from other sources. Permission must be obtained before submission. Authors should clearly indicate which elements require separate permission in their cover letter.
JDDD commits to maintaining permanent access to published articles, ensuring DOI functionality, and preserving the scholarly record. We do not impose embargoes or access restrictions after publication. All gastroenterology research is immediately available.
Users reusing JDDD content must provide appropriate citation including authors, article title, journal name, volume, issue, page numbers or article number, and DOI. For adapted or derivative works, users should indicate modifications made while crediting the original gastroenterology research source.
