About the Journal of Current Scientific Research

Research does not always arrive in the shape a subject journal expects. A measurement technique developed for one material turns out to matter for another; a modeling approach built for one system answers a question in a different one; a study is methodologically sound and useful but belongs to no single established literature. JCSR exists to publish that work, and to publish it under the same conditions as anything else.

The journal accepts fundamental and applied work equally. It publishes methods and protocols, validation and replication studies, and results that did not confirm the expected outcome, on the same terms as new findings, provided the method is sound and the reporting is complete. A result is not more publishable here for being unusual for the journal, and not disadvantaged because it comes from an established field.

Where a submission sits between disciplines, the editors look for the argument to be legible to a reader trained in the neighboring one. Interdisciplinary work should explain how its fields connect; a single-discipline study is equally eligible.

Breadth places the obligation on the editors rather than on the reader. A journal that accepts work from several fields has to be able to show, for any one manuscript, that it reached someone competent to judge it.

All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal's scope and minimum requirements proceed to independent peer review. The journal must arrange both competent editorial handling and qualified independent review. An editor does not handle a subject outside their competence merely because external reviewers can be recruited. Members of the editorial board are listed in full, with their affiliation, expertise and ORCID iD, on the Editorial Board page, so a prospective author can see for themselves who covers which subject.

Peer review: Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request. Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts. Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal.

JCSR has been publishing since 2020. Examples in the published record include work on the chemical degradation of fiber-reinforced polymers for storage applications; on tactile force feedback in precision grasping; on the diagnosis of acute respiratory distress syndrome from arterial oxygen measurements; on solvent-free routes to sulfonyl amidines; on nature-inspired optimization applied to geoelectrical interpretation; and on mathematical modeling of epidemic spread.

These examples illustrate part of the published record, not a limit on eligible subjects or methods. New submissions from any scientific discipline are assessed for their contribution, methods or reasoning, supporting evidence and ethical integrity.
