Aims And Scope

Open Access Pub launches the Open Peer Reviewed Journal -” Journal of Palliative Care And Hospice”. JPCH focuses on providing the researchers with a reliable source of reference. It aims to form a primary source for examining, diagnosing, and treating patients. Hoping that this helps clinicians and researchers all over the world connect, gain and share their experiences.

Palliative care and hospice are two medical specialties that provide holistic care to patients who are facing a serious illness or are near the end of life. Palliative care focuses on providing relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness. It is provided by a team of trained medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, who specialize in symptom management and end-of-life care. Hospice care is a more specialized form of palliative care and is typically provided in patients’ homes or hospice facilities. It is designed to provide comfort and support for patients and their families as life transitions to its final stage. The hospice team typically involves doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors, therapists, and aides who are devoted to making sure patients’ last days or weeks are spent peacefully. Both palliative and hospice care have the common goal of providing compassionate care that enhances the quality of life.

Journal of Palliative Care and Hospice focuses on research, practice, and policy related to palliative and hospice care. The journal provides evidence-based approaches to palliative and hospice care and emphasizes the importance of quality of life and symptom management. JPCH seeks to examine current challenges and challenges posed by new technologies, and emerging models of care. The journal also examines opportunities for improving the quality of palliative care, developing new methods and models of care, and exploring the ethical and legal aspects of palliative and hospice care.

JPCH seeks to provide the most up-to-date, relevant, and evidence-based information, perspectives, and experiences to enhance the understanding and practice of palliative and hospice care. The journal encourages submissions from a variety of disciplines and perspectives, including but not limited to medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work, chaplaincy, and public health. The journal covers wide-ranging topics including advanced care planning, pain, and symptom management, patient and family counseling, communication, bereavement, healthcare systems and reimbursement, public policy, symptom management, palliative care strategies, family caregiving, and quality of life.
