Biography
Dimitris Zianis, born in Naousa, Greece, on 21 June 1974, holds a BSc in Forestry from TEI of Kavala, Greece, an MSc in Forest Management from the University of Aberdeen, and a PhD in Forest Biometry from the University of Edinburgh. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Agricultural University of Athens, Athens, Greece. His research focuses on forest biometry and urban forestry, with his most-cited publication being "Biomass Allometries for Urban Trees: A Case Study in Athens, Greece" (2025).
