Biography

Dr. Mohammad Shayestehpour is a researcher in molecular virology working in Iran, with primary affiliation at Kashan University of Medical Sciences. His fields of interest include virotherapy, oncolytic viruses, general virology, and vaccine research. He has published on topics such as the effect of spike-mutated SARS-CoV-2 variants on vaccine efficacy, autoimmune disease manifestations following COVID-19, and the use of adenovirus vectors in cancer therapy. He also explores viral epidemiology, immune response, and virus-host interactions. His work reflects both basic research and translational potential, especially around viral infections and cancer.
