- Born on 1964 May 27th in Potenza (PZ, Italy)
- 1987: Graduated in Dentistry, DDS, cum laude, at the University of Messina (Italy);
- 1988/1989: Scholarship at the School of Dentistry of the University of Napoli (Italy);
- 1989- 1994 Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry of the University of L ’Aquila (Italy) in the Restorative Dentistry Department;
- 1994: Visiting Doctor at the Department Dental Materials Science, ACTA, University of Amsterdam (NL); - 1995: Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry of the University of Napoli Federico II
- 2002: Researcher Professor at the school of Dentistry of the University of Napoli Federico II
- 2002: PhD degree at the University of Amsterdam (NL) after a public defense on: “Polymerization shrinkage and loading stress distribution in adhesive resin-based-composite class II restorations ”, promoter Prof. C.L. DAVIDSON;
