Biography
Fatih Deniz is affiliated with Harran University, Sanliurfa, Turkey, where his research focuses on Environmental Biotechnology. His work centers on the development and application of sustainable biosorbents derived from waste biomass, coastal seaweed communities, and forestry by-products for the remediation of contaminated aquatic environments. He has made significant contributions to phycoremediation system modeling and the biosorption of heavy metal ions and synthetic dyes from water. His most-cited publication, "Effective cleaning of a hazardous synthetic triarylmethane-type dye from aquatic environment with a multifunctional waste biomass–based biosorbent" (2022), exemplifies his commitment to ecofriendly approaches for addressing water pollution challenges.
