Overview
Cerebrovascular diseases are conditions that affect the blood vessels supplying the brain with oxygen and nutrients. Conditions such as stroke, aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation, and Carotid Artery Disease are all cerebrovascular diseases. These disorders can have a wide range of effects including paralysis, loss of speech and memory, and even death. Treatment of cerebrovascular diseases often involves surgical procedures, and it is important to be aware of the symptoms so that the condition can be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical for successful management of cerebrovascular diseases and to reduce the risk of long-term complications.
