Overview

Agricultural technology transfer is the process by which the latest agricultural research and advancements in technology are transferred from the research source to farmers so that they can upgrade their practices, improve their skills and enhance the productivity of their crops. This transfer of knowledge and practices helps farmers maximize the use of resources, increase their yields, reduce their environmental impact and help them adapt to changing environmental conditions. Agricultural technology transfer also plays a key role in food security, as it allows for the effective use of available resources to produce enough food for a larger population. It also has an important role to play in the global economy, as it helps improve global agricultural competitiveness.
