Overview

Treatment therapies for pancreatic carcinoma are a set of treatments used to manage and reduce the progression of the disease. These include chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which are the main treatments used to slow the growth of the tumour, as well as surgery and other therapies which may be used to try and remove it. Treatment therapies are incredibly important in pancreatic carcinoma, as they can hopefully improve a patients’ quality of life by reducing the associated side-effects and prolonging life expectancy.
