Overview

Migraine is a recurrent headache disorder which can affect children as young as 5 years of age. Characterized by severe and recurrent headaches, migraine in childhood may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting and increased sensitivity to light or sound. Early diagnosis and treatment of migraine in childhood can lessen the severity and frequency of migraines and help children lead healthier, more productive lives.
