Headaches are a common physical complaint and can be caused by numerous sources such as stress, tension, dehydration, caffeine, and even genetics. Headaches can range from mild to severe and usually involve throbbing or piercing pain in the head or face, or they might be a feeling of pressure across the entire head. The most common type of headache is tension headache, which is caused by tight or overstressed muscles in the neck, scalp, and forehead.
