Overview

Chronic Migraine is a long-lasting and recurrent neurological condition characterized by regular and frequent episodes of severe and disabling headaches. The headaches are generally accompanied by sensitivity to light and sound and can last for several hours or even days. Chronic Migraine is the most disabling form of Migraine and affects approximately 1% of the population. Treatment usually includes medications, lifestyle modifications, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Early detection and adequate treatment of Chronic Migraine is important as it can significantly reduce the severity of the symptoms and can improve the quality of life of those affected.
