Biography
Prof. Lun Hu, MS, is a Professor at the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry in Ürümqi, China. He received his education from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Department of Computing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research focuses on computational methods in biomedicine, particularly graph representation learning and network-based approaches for predicting drug–disease associations. Prof. Hu has authored over 52 indexed publications, with his most-cited work, "HINGRL: predicting drug–disease associations with graph representation learning on heterogeneous information networks" (2021), receiving 136 citations and exemplifying his contributions to integrating machine learning with biomedical informatics.
