Biography
Dr. Bo Feng, PhD, is affiliated with the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China. He received his education from Zhejiang University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Medicine. His clinical training includes residency and chief residency in the Department of Surgery at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, and a research fellowship in colorectal surgery at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University. His research encompasses neurodegenerative mechanisms and synaptic pathology, exemplified by his most-cited publication on planar cell polarity signaling components as direct targets of β-amyloid–associated degeneration of glutamatergic synapses (2021, 28 citations). His work bridges surgical expertise with molecular investigations of neurological disease processes.
