Journal Indexing
Ensuring your chemistry research reaches the global scientific community.
Discoverability and Impact
JNDC is committed to maximizing the visibility of your chemistry research through comprehensive indexing, permanent identifiers, and structured metadata distribution.
JNDC articles are indexed and discoverable through the following services:
Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)
The world's premier chemistry database, indexing chemical substances, reactions, and scientific literature.
IndexedGoogle Scholar
Comprehensive academic search engine with citation tracking and author profiles.
IndexedCrossRef DOI
Permanent digital object identifiers for reliable citation and long-term access.
RegisteredSemantic Scholar
AI-powered academic search with citation analysis and research recommendations.
IndexedCAS Indexing - The Gold Standard for Chemistry
Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) is the authoritative source for chemical information. JNDC articles are submitted to CAS for indexing, ensuring your research is discoverable by chemists worldwide through SciFinder and other CAS platforms. CAS indexing includes compound registration and citation linking.
Every JNDC article receives a permanent CrossRef DOI, ensuring:
- Permanent, reliable citation links that never break
- Integration with reference managers and citation tools
- Citation tracking and metrics through CrossRef Cited-by
- Metadata distribution to major academic databases
- Compliance with funder open access requirements
JNDC maintains high-quality metadata to support indexing and discovery:
- Structured Abstracts: Clear, searchable content for indexing algorithms
- Keywords: Chemistry-specific terms aligned with CAS and IUPAC standards
- Author Information: ORCID integration for author identification
- References: Linked and crossref-enabled for citation discovery
- Chemical Identifiers: CAS Registry Numbers and InChI Keys where applicable
- Use clear, descriptive titles with key chemical terms
- Include 5-8 keywords aligned with CAS and IUPAC terminology
- Provide CAS Registry Numbers for compounds when available
- Use IUPAC systematic names for novel compounds
- Include an ORCID identifier for author disambiguation
- Ensure all references include DOIs when available
