Manuscript Categories

Journal of New Developments in Chemistry welcomes submissions across the following categories, each designed to serve different research communication needs:

Original Research

Full-length articles presenting novel findings from synthetic, analytical, physical, or materials chemistry. Manuscripts should include comprehensive methodology, complete characterization data for new compounds, and original data that advances chemical knowledge.

Review Articles

Comprehensive reviews synthesizing current evidence on significant chemistry topics. Reviews should offer critical analysis of the literature, identify knowledge gaps, and provide perspective on future research directions. Meta-analyses and systematic reviews are welcome.

Short Communications

Brief reports of significant findings that merit rapid publication. Short communications should present preliminary results with high impact potential that justify early dissemination to the chemistry community.

Technical Notes

Reports on innovative synthetic methods, analytical techniques, instrumentation advances, or computational approaches with practical applications. Technical notes should describe methods that will be useful to other researchers in the field.
