Hematology focuses on diagnosing and treating blood-related diseases in humans and animals. It helps identify blood disorders, anemia, clotting issues, and potential cancer indicators. In animals, it's used to diagnose diseases, infections, and assess overall blood health.

Oncology specializes in cancer study and treatment, covering preventive care, palliative care, genetics, and various cancer treatments like surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hormonal therapy. It addresses cancers such as skin, breast, cervical, lung, ovarian, and gastrointestinal cancers.
