Contribute to HIV Research Quality

The Journal of Clinical Research in HIV/AIDS and Prevention invites qualified researchers to register as peer reviewers. Reviewers play an essential role in ensuring the quality and integrity of published HIV/AIDS research. We welcome reviewers with expertise across clinical HIV, prevention science, basic virology, and public health.

Eligibility Requirements

Reviewer candidates should demonstrate expertise in HIV/AIDS or related research areas.

  • Doctoral degree in medicine, public health, virology, or relevant scientific field
  • Active research program with peer-reviewed HIV/AIDS publications
  • Subject matter expertise in specific HIV research areas
  • Commitment to ethical peer review practices
  • Ability to complete reviews within typical two to three week timeframes
Registration Process

To register as a JCRHAP reviewer, submit your information to the editorial office. You will be added to our reviewer database and invited to review HIV manuscripts matching your expertise areas when suitable submissions are received.

Required Information

Please provide your name, affiliation, contact information, areas of HIV expertise, ORCID identifier, and a brief list of recent publications demonstrating your qualifications.

Review Invitations

Registered reviewers receive invitations when manuscripts matching their HIV expertise are submitted. You may accept or decline each invitation based on availability and interest. Declining invitations does not affect future invitations. Accept only when you can provide quality reviews.

Expected Commitment

Most reviewers complete two to six reviews annually depending on submission volume and expertise match. Reviews typically require two to three weeks from acceptance. Time commitments are flexible and controlled by reviewers.

Training and Support

New reviewers receive orientation materials covering expectations, criteria, and best practices. Our editorial team provides guidance on review procedures. Resources are available to support quality reviews.
