Biography
Dr. Zijian Li is an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-sen University in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, U.S.) and B.S. degree in chemistry from Jilin University (Changchun, China). Dr. Li's research interests include environmental toxicology, human exposure, life cycle impact assessment, health risk modeling, and pesticide regulatory standard values, with a strong interdisciplinary approach to improve human health risk assessment and environmental regulatory jurisdictions. His work, including his most-cited publication "Worldwide Regulations of Standard Values of Pesticides for Human Health Risk Control: A Review" (2017, cited 159 times), benefits worldwide pesticide policy makers in formulating and rationalizing uniform standard values in residential surface soil, drinking water, and agricultural commodities. With over 65 indexed publications, Dr. Li continues to contribute significantly to the field of environmental health and risk assessment.
