Overview

Cytokines are proteins that play a key role in successful cell communication and regulation. They are involved in many biological processes, including the development and maturation of different tissues and organs, the control of the immune system, and the development of cardiovascular diseases. The activity of cytokines is of great importance in the development of cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary artery disease and stroke, as they can trigger an inflammatory response. Cytokines have been associated with an increased risk of developing the disease and can contribute to the progression of the disease and its severity. By targeting cytokines, different therapeutic methods can be used to reduce the risk and progression of cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, many studies have shown that proper and timely management of cytokine activity can help to reduce the mortality rate from cardiovascular diseases and improve the quality of life of those affected.
