Overview

Aminoalcohols are a class of organic compounds which contain both an amino group and a hydroxyl group (OH). They are used in many different industrial applications due to their unique properties. Aminoalcohols are an important component in the formulation of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and lactose-based artificial sweeteners. They have also been used to create more effective polymer resins, surfactants, and even as a plasticizer. Aminoalcohols offer increased solubility, improved stability, and enhanced viscosity, which can improve the performance of products and reduce costs.
