Overview

and Non Essential Amino acids are organic compounds that are the building blocks of proteins found in all living organisms. There are 20 essential amino acids, which are those the body cannot make and must be obtained from the diet, and non-essential amino acids, which can be synthesized by the body. Essential amino acids are important for proper growth and development, energy metabolism, and healthy immune function, making them essential for health and wellbeing. Non-essential amino acids are also important for tissue repair and maintenance, and for normal functioning of the brain, nervous system, and other organs. Therefore, both essential and non-essential amino acids are necessary for optimal health, and foods containing them should be incorporated into the diet.
