Biography
Dr. Martin Kimanya is affiliated with the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology in Arusha, Tanzania, where his research focuses on food safety and public health risks in African contexts. His work addresses critical challenges related to mycotoxin contamination and its health implications, particularly aflatoxin exposure and associated disease burden. His most influential contribution, "Estimating the risk of aflatoxin-induced liver cancer in Tanzania based on biomarker data" (2021), has been cited 52 times and exemplifies his commitment to evidence-based risk assessment using biomarker approaches.
