The Journal of Clinical Research in HIV/AIDS and Prevention invites qualified researchers to apply for editorial board positions. Editors play an essential role in maintaining publication quality, shaping journal direction, and advancing scientific communication in HIV research. Editor candidates should demonstrate established expertise in HIV/AIDS or related disciplines.
- Doctoral degree in medicine, public health, virology, or a relevant scientific field
- Active research program with current peer-reviewed publications in HIV
- Experience as a peer reviewer for scientific journals
- Expertise in specific areas of HIV clinical research or prevention science
- Commitment to ethical publishing practices and scientific integrity
- Ability to dedicate time for manuscript evaluation and editorial duties
To apply for an editorial position, submit your application materials to the JCRHAP editorial office. Applications are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and senior board members. Successful candidates receive formal invitations outlining responsibilities and expectations.
Required Application Materials
Please submit your curriculum vitae, a brief statement describing your HIV expertise and motivation for editorial service, and a list of your key publications in HIV/AIDS research. Include ORCID identifier if available.
JCRHAP offers several editorial roles. Associate Editors handle manuscripts in their HIV specialty areas. Section Editors oversee specific research areas within the journal scope. Guest Editors organize special issues. The Editorial Advisory Board provides strategic guidance.
Editors typically handle four to eight HIV manuscripts annually, depending on role and availability. Initial assessments should be completed within one week, with complete reviews over two to four weeks. Editors may decline assignments during busy periods.
New editors receive orientation and mentoring from experienced board members. Our editorial management system is user-friendly with technical support available. Regular communication keeps editors informed about journal developments.
